What Jaclyn Cormier doesn't like about Crompton Ale House:
the restaurant itself is very sweet, but really loud? how abnormally loud, maybe they lower the music a little bit bc I could hardly hear the people that I next. the food was very good, especially the fries that I got to eat and it was good nothing bad, but that was sooo long, I think we waited about 40 min for our food, there was a lot of us, but still it was very long. across the street from our hotel we needed a local spot for dinner...great place for a drink and meal. super service and great food choices. clean, music, sports on tv, bar stools or table seats and spacious. only con was the atmosphere, after a long road trip we needed a bit less action but that was down to us, as this place has a great pub atmosphere. read moreCrompton is a NYC sports bar with a diverse food menu and good beer selection. While some diners find the food underwhelming and noise levels high, others praise the flavorful dishes and reasonable prices, especially in Lower Midtown. The steak frites and side salad stand out, but service experiences vary, with some feeling neglected by staff. Despite mixed reviews on food quality and service, Crompton's convenient location and friendly staff contribute to its appeal for many patrons seeking a casual dining and drinking option in the city.
