When the waiter introduced the special dishes, he emphasized not once but twice that one of them was "very expensive," which felt strange—especially since it turned out to cost only $54! Overall, while the food and drinks are great, the attitude of the staff left something to be desired. View all feedback.
During my first visit, the owner Salvatore was incredibly welcoming and friendly, as was the entire staff.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in NYC, Salvatore always offers wonderful hospitality and an outstanding menu. Be sure to try the veal, the branzino, or any of the pasta dishes!
