The veal cheeks were possibly the best dish I have ever tasted. I recommend sitting at a table away from the doors of Grand Central Station, especially in extreme weather conditions. View all feedback.
What Michelle Stuart doesn't like about Cipriani Dolci:
We enjoyed some late drinks at the bar and ended our evening with a slightly pricey cup of English tea for $5 each. However, it was a pot of tea and they offered fresh milk, so we felt it was worth it. The bar staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was surprisingly good - despite facing the bar, it was not noisy. View all feedback.
Now, onto the food - it was seriously one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. I still dream about that pasta dish. If you have never tried the pasta dish that Cipriani is known for, you are definitely missing out. The best part was that we were able to pay the check quickly and rush downstairs to catch our train back to Long Island. This place will always hold a special memory for us as our first Christmas outing in NYC with our son.
We were all in the mood for pasta that day, so we ordered Organic Cipriani Spaghetti with Branzino and Cherry Tomatoes, Bucatini Cacio e Pepe, and Organic Cipriani Tagliarelle alla Bolognese. What stood out to me was that they even brought the extra servings in a metal container, which made the higher price point seem more reasonable. I didn't have high expectations for a touristy spot, but the dishes were surprisingly delicious. And when it came to dessert, they make it hard to resist. Rather than bringing a dessert menu, they bring the actual desserts to your table for you to choose from. They also provide complimentary cookies, which was a nice touch. From the selection, we chose the Vanilla Meringue Cake and Vanilla Mille-Feuille, both of which were generous portions that we could all enjoy. While the desserts weren't the best I've ever had, they were still enjoyable. Overall, we had a pleasant lunch with a starry view of the ceiling of Grand Central Terminal. The food was tasty, and the service was satisfactory. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a top choice for treating out-of-town guests in the future.
I've always wanted to go and now that I have an office in Graybar I thought it would be a great spot for holiday cocktails. The location is prime a fantastic spot to have specialty cocktails and small bites or a meal. The maitre D was friendly and engaging and gave exceptional service. We didn't have a reservation but he gave us a table and checked on us often. The waiters also were friendly and offered exceptional service. The restaurant is located in Grand Central Terminal on the balcony. It has an upscale vibe with travelers coming and going out from the tri-state area. We ordered cocktails and small bites I had the Mr. C which has vodka, mandarin, lemon juice and Prosecco it is a class cocktail from the Mr. C hotel in Beverly Hills. My coworker had a champagne cocktail and the other had a martini. The drinks went fabulously with the Prosciutto Tower which included melon, grapes and parmigiana cheese. It was a nice way to end the day and a great send off for the holidays. I'll definitely be back!!!
I had always wanted to try this restaurant and finally decided to visit on my own. It is a small place that is perfect for drinks, with a nice view of Grand Central. They have a bar area which is nice. I ordered a drink and an appetizer, the prosciutto with melon. The portion size was good, but I wish the presentation and quality of the prosciutto were better. Despite that, it was a tasty dish. The service was good. I would recommend this place for after work drinks, but keep in mind that it may not be suitable for large groups due to its small size.
Had dinner here with colleagues and everything was delicious. The liver with polenta was fresh and tender. No livery after taste at all. The Papperdelle pasta was melt in your mouth delicious. Everyone loved their dishes and would happily return for more. The only complaint, the seating offers great views of Grand Central, but it's tight as your very close to the table next and behind you.
