This is my hidden gem on 8th Street. I come here just to come to grab a burrito without the hassle of finding a seat. The weekdays is very mellow. The facility is always clean and they seem to always have tea on tap when I come her after 9 pm. I like the design of the facility, it can sit a lot of people. I got severe food poisoning from this restaurant last Sunday. I am a huge fan of Chipotle and usually a loyal customer, but this experience was terrible. I have had E. Coli before and this was even worse. The food needs to be cleaned and cooked better. This was awful. View all feedback.
The only Chipotle in NYC that serves during frying gets 5 stars once they fix their cash register. The receptionist, who goes by the name Cynthia, is never helpful. I ran several blocks in the past, only to be told they only accept mobile payments. I had the app, but she refused to assist me and suggested making an appointment if my payment method wasn't accepted properly. I'm not sure if her name is really Cynthia, but she is a short, black woman who is unfriendly and gives attitude when spoken to. Dealing with her each time I order has been exhausting. I love Chipotle in general, but the unpleasant staff at this location make it difficult to enjoy. I felt the need to share my negative experience.
I was pleasantly surprised when they gave me a free burrito while I was dining at the restaurant.
The seating arrangement at this restaurant is beautiful. The meal was, as always, delicious!
Great service and eat the only one that bothered me that they thought I was a delivery service. I had a motorcycle helmet and driven on them suspect that I was driving an electric bike, but I'm just a regular customer lol.
Burritos were luke warm, chicken was tough and dry, not anything like other chipotles we have visited, a real shame
