I ordered the shrimp tempura roll, the alaska roll, and a miso soup for lunch. The rolls were good the shrimp tempura stayed crunchy and the salmon was very fresh, and both of them contained avocado! The miso soup was not bad and had seaweed and a little bit of tofu. Madison Square Park is right around the corner an excellent spot to take your lunch. View all feedback.
What moot doesn't like about Chef 28:
The place was empty, which should have been our hint to run. The food was okay at best, there were some hidden gems such as the soup dumplings but everything was mediocre. The Tofu Teriyaki was okay, not enough rice to accompany the platter though. They handed us our water and it was visibly cloudy. The Miso soup was okay but it was a little too salty. The sushi rolls seem like a bargain but in reality the portions a... View all feedback.
The food is not delicious, not fresh, and I have diarrhea after eating. I sincerely hope that everyone will not go to this restaurant
Was looking for a good place near where I work that makes good Singapore Mei Fun (curry rice noodles). This place makes them better than almost anyplace I've been to so far. They also have a California Roll Special where you can get two California rolls for the price of one. Worth it given the quality of them (and great for days where I know I need to eat something for lunch but want something cheaper but also healthier). So far I have no complaints and I've ordered from this place about a dozen times now. Absolutely amazing Singapore Mei Fun here. Price is very reasonable for Manhattan Singapore Curry Rice Noodles, too.Great place to pick up from if you're in the area.Super friendly staff, as well. Great English and they seem to care and remember me which is... honestly not what I'm used to from restaurants like this.If you like spicy Asian food in general, or just Singapore Mei Fun Noodles, or if you just want a quick and easy 2-roll (one roll free) California Roll Special, this is a good place to seriously consider, especially if you're in the area anyways.Keep it up guys!
Barely any shrimp in the Boston roll. Ordered three roles and all of them are like this. Mostly lettuce. Perdón at the front isn’t very friendly either

The Tofu Teriyaki was okay, not enough rice to accompany the platter though. They handed us our water and it was visibly cloudy. The Miso soup was okay but it was a little too salty. The sushi rolls seem like a bargain but in reality the portions are so small you might as well have gotten ripped off. They do, however, offer a wide variety of food items, so that's a plus.
First time coming here this week even though I worked in the area for the last 5 years. Dive bar with some cheap options but also some not so cheap options. The only thing that interested me on the HH menu was the $5 Stella (Tuesdays) and $10 Moscow Mules. The MM wasn't half bad and you get free popcorn here with your drinks. Pretty nice concept here, but average spot. Way better bars in the area that's just as cheap or divey.
