Casa La Femme - New York

Aesthetically a beautiful place, especially now that they have redesigned the venue for summer.

My reservation for my birthday was canceled the day before without any notice or reasoning. When I called the restaurant to find out what happened, an extremely rude man picked up with his dog barking in the background and blamed me for not responding I never got any calls, emails, or follow ups from the restaurant only the cancellation. When I asked him to rebook the original slot for us, he gave me a hard time, yelled at me in a nasty attitude then told me he could only do I agreed though at that point I didn't even want to go there anymore. I ended up having to call back to even get an email confirmation. After reading similar stories horrible reviews about wait times even with reservations, I decided to cancel. I didn't want my night to be ruined since restaurants now close at due to Covid and we would have been out of luck finding another spot for people that late. They should consider better management and being nicer to potential customers. Businesses are hurting we are trying to give back, but now my friends don't even want to dine at Casa La Femme because of this experience

Great experience. Fantastic food. Know your options and that you can order a la carte. Waiter Waitress will try to upsell you to do a pre fixe meal which you don’t have to do
