Contribute FeedbackCarnegie Diner, situated near the bustling Columbus Circle, offers a unique dining experience characterized by a vibrant atmosphere and generous portions. Patrons appreciate the quick service, especially during peak times, and many praise the quality of the food, including standout options like the pastrami Reuben and delicious pancakes. However, the diner struggles with consistency; several diners noted instances of indifferent service and overpriced, underwhelming dishes. While the ambiance is enjoyable, loud patrons can disrupt the experience. Overall, Carnegie Diner remains a solid choice for visitors, particularly those attending events at nearby Carnegie Hall.
This was our second visit. The first time everything was great. Unfortunately, this time our waitress was inattentive.
The food was delicious and the service outstanding!
The food and service were good. One thing to note is that there was a wait to get in, even with a reservation. When I arrived at the restaurant and gave my name/reservation I was added to the bottom of the list that was being used to seat people. The wait wasn't too long but they don't hold a table based on the reservation.
Great spot for brunch. Very large portions, food is great, convenient location and staff is very friendly
Great brunch here today, amazing fresh food, wonderful service and a nice buzz
