Awful service. Several tables were waiting on 1 waiter that wasn't very attentive. Need to hire a bartender and a few waiters as we had to wait a while to have our table cleaned, to order drinks/dinner and to get our check at the end of the evening. The food and ambiance are too great to be diluted by poor service. View all feedback.
What Halle Carroll doesn't like about Carma East:
The food was alright. Alittle salty for my taste. their taco and cripsy pancakes were really good. When i asked for hot sauce they gave me some kind of burnt pepper flakes in oil.. wish they had proper hot sauce. View all feedback.
I love this place! This is my second visit, and I will definitely come back. The soup dumplings are really delicious!
The service was fantastic, and the staff was not only interesting and helpful but also very attentive to food allergies.
What a fantastic find! The staff was very attentive, the dim sum was delicious, and the atmosphere was lively, with a bit of a fun vibe on Saturday night. I highly recommend the dandan noodles, chili wontons, and truffle soup dumplings. We can't wait to go back!
Carma east is a nice restaurant but there are plenty better dim sum restaurants in NYC.
