First time there, the wait to be seated was ridiculous. We waited for 2 hours for a table for 7, 4 adults 2 children and 1 infant. The food was good and service was prompt. Will visit again. View all feedback.
Currently on a 50 restaurant tour encompassing Nassau, Suffolk County, NYC and Massachusetts. Restaurant number 37. Parking was available but had limitations. Nice curb appeal and average decor. Spacious with a relaxed atmosphere. With a name like brownstones coffee though, I would imagine that the coffee would be better than industry standard, it wasn't but here's where the fun begins. Best brunch place ever. Always changing up the menu. I get something different every day and I love all the different choices. I have yet to order something I did not like.
This place was a pleasant surprise. My boyfriend and I went for brunch on like a Tuesday and it was really crowded when we arrived but the wait was like 20 minutes and it was worth it. I ordered the French toast bites with a side of caramel sauce and it was very delicious. But what was do die for me was their corned beef hash…it's REAL corned beef with home fries mixed in and it's soooo sooo good.
