Hello, I just felt the need to write to you how we enjoyed dinning at your restaurant. We tend to visit NYC once a year, and never knew about your place. This time we where lucky enough, to discover one of the best restaurants we have ever been too! So we had to come twice...The food food is impeccable, the ambiance is amazing and Tina the amazingly nice and beautiful waitress was the cherry on top of the icing! Than... View all feedback.
What Mirella Major doesn't like about BONDST:
I have been to Bondst twice in the past two weeks. Everytime I make a reservation I have to wait at least an hour to get seated. This time I asked the hostess what happened with my table and she said she had to give it away because we were no longer a party of 4 but 3. We ended up getting seated at a table for a party of 4. I think it is ridiculous that everytime I make an 8:15/8:30 reservation I have to wait an hour... View all feedback.
The white fish was not good and we felt bad after. Usually a really good restaurant
Nothing better in the city. Best vibes. Downstairs for a party. Main level for fun atmosphere, upstairs is great for big groups.
I am a beverage manager here in the city and my uncle who was celebrating his birthday is a F&B director here in the city. We can both strongly say how bad our server was. His approach with his guests was more like a bro guy at a bar trying to sell you bud lights then it was a server at one of the best sushi restaurants in New York City with minimum spends expected to be at least $50 per person. He asked us three separate times if we have been there before to which we all replied yes. He made countless efforts to “upsell” but it was more on a place he knows better. He would come back to us each time and say “ oh have you been here before because like you got this and so I wouldn’t get that. Then on top of it wouldn’t recommend something else that fit along the line of what we were thinking. The food itself was fantastic as always. The strip steak was incredible. As for the drinks, not having key timeless Sakes was a little strange but manageable. My server forgot my whiskey as the end of our dessert. So while everyone else enjoyed their drink i patiently waited. We also asked for which sake do they have by the glass, and rather then offering a few key pocket Sakes or even the menu. Our server said the following; “laughed, dude we have like 30, what are you thinking, junmai, daiginjo…..” when we stated which we prefer he stated “ got got it, I got you i got you”. All in all, the food is well worth it, but the service would really hold me back from going again, 4 people spending $650 after the tip (to which he is lucky we tipped as well as we did and took in the rest of the team to consideration). Stay away till the staff offers the same elevated touch that the ambiance and food offers.

We had the best experience celebrating. I want to thank BondSt
