This is place did not disappoint me even I’m not a vegan. My friend and I had a couple of rolls and we both liked the Sweet Tree Roll the most, the toasted cayenne sauce on top was really good. The dessert ube cashews cheesecake was great too. Although it doesn’t have the cheese flavor, but has the satisfying creamy texture. Service was excellent. We’ll be back for more.
I was Beyond surprised at this vegan place. I'm a non-vegetarian meeting up with a vegetarian friend and loved the vibes, service and the food. Tapioca salmon! Who would've thought? Cauliflower wings were awesome. Recommend the rainbow rolls. Even the drink was great and not overly sweet (personal preference) Definitely would come back to try other dishes. Easily walkable from NY Penn station.
Yummy Spicy Mango rolls! The mushroom dumplings were not as good as other Beyond Sushi locations I have been to. But the ube cheesecake was BOMB! SO delicious. Service was very speedy and servers were awesome.
I tried Beyond Sushi for the first time after reading plenty of positive reviews. It did not disappoint at all. Spicy Mango rolls were spot on! Shitake truffle mushroom dumplings were average. Definitely worth a try when you around, they have multiple branches.
A much needed review but unfortunately a bit delayed. A dinner outing with friends and family a month ago led us to try this hip and vegan twist on sushi and Japanese cuisine… the owner of Coletta (A must visit vegan Italian restaurant) opened beyond sushi initially before branching out to new cuisines. We have ordered a little bit of everything from the menu to get a taste of what this master cultivated in his kitchen and see how it stands up to the original flavors of Japanese cuisines. Their cauliflower wings were def mind blowing… the sauce and crunch with each bite made this dish a must order when dining here. Their Nutty buddy wrap was also filling and the flavors balanced eachother off so well. The most impressive dish(s) were the sushi themselves… the process of turning tapioca into smoked salmon is hands down genius level. Also for desert highly recommend the cashew cheesecake and the sweet tree… overall an amazing experience and a new found favorite. Bravo
