Authentic Italian with very attentive management and staff. Linguini, lamb and calamari salad were all excellent. Can be crowded on weekends so get a reservation. View all feedback.
What SusanM doesn't like about Bettolona:
Just know that if you go in summer when their whole windows/doors opening to the street you are directly next to the elevated trains and subjected to the LOUD noise of their passing every few minutes. In winter I imagine it's more muted since the place isn't open to the outdoors. It's pleasant since they don't have to use AC but OMG the noise, plus sirens and such...being on Broadway. I eat here often. Very familiar with the area because I grew up here. This restaurant is relatively new to the neighborhood. The food is good. Nice size and great ambiance. The owner is usually there and he is very cordial and friendly. He will definitely remember you if you are a repeat customer. I do mostly takeout now because of the pandemic. The pizza pie is great for one person and the brick oven taste is awesome. Love the mashed potatoes. Be ready to spend but worth it.
Amazing food, service was nice and their outside patio is really comfortable! All the pizzas and pastas can be changed and made gluten free! I would HIGHLY recommend!!!
