Despite some complaints about food quality and timing of courses, many highlighted specific dishes like the Spaghetti Nero and the Rice Balls as excellent. The cozy and romantic ambiance, as well as the attentive service and cleanliness of the restaurant, were also frequently praised. Overall, Bacaro seems to be a hidden gem that offers a unique dining experience, with some minor areas for improvement.
Had dinner here last week. very nice restaurant with two etagens, although main restaurant is below. eating was good, except the Broccoli rave, which was well cooked. the staff was superior and immediately said they would cook another batch or take them out of the bill. the dessert was excellent!
Cute little spot between kiki’s and forgetmenot we discovered while we wait in the line. the waiters were fast and wore masks all the time, and the menu can be pulled up on the table using QR code. we tried the Tequila cocktail and the Bourbon cocktail. we did not order any food, but noticed many other tables that enjoy meals. great place to grab drinks is the street alive and always packed in the evening!
Some of the best Italian cuisine I had. Get the duck Ragu, mushroom Gnocchi, marinated ribeye and mozzarella. The red wine Ripasso is also a good choice for full-bodied dry wine fans. Servers are attentive. Atmosphere is stylish and intimate. Very recommended!
Walked in with a party of 5 without a reservation on a Saturday night and of course there was only outdoor seating available. It was chilly but the space heaters worked well so we were comfortable. The waitress that served us was attentive and welcoming. We had no idea what to expect of the food but all of the dishes were tasty and satisfying. I’m pretty picky when it comes to fried calamari but I quite enjoyed their fritto misto antipasti and would happily order it again! My only critique would be for the bacalao with polenta that was flavorful but just way too salty. Special props for the fact that the bathroom inside was super clean and featured a large vase of fresh lilies! Just shows that the owners/managers care about the details!
A popular hidden gem perfect for Date Night. Ask for a table in the lower level, it looks like an old wine cellar down there and it is quite romantic. The wine is great and the food is even better.
