I absolutely love this restaurant and visit as often as possible. The food is delicious, and their sangria is the best I've ever had. However, I went there this past Sunday and was disappointed by the loud music—they were playing club tunes that felt more suited for a bar. I enjoy being able to hear the people I’m dining with. I really hope they don’t turn into one of those places that have overly loud music and hook... View all feedback.
What Tressa Littel doesn't like about Anchor Heights:
It appears that the owners have opted to adopt the more casual atmosphere of other Inwood restaurants. This is problematic because when you’re trying to enjoy a $26 sea bass entrée (which, to be fair, is well-prepared), you would hope to do so in a reasonably pleasant environment. Instead of the serene dining experience we sought, we found ourselves in a disruptive setting.

There was an infestation of bugs that came from the wood floors of the restaurant. we (and several other tables) had to get our bill and go before our lunch trip. the personal was very nice and tried to deal with the bugs as soon as possible, but he was enough to say we had all lost our appetit. the waiter shared that this happened before.
Thanks guys! We really enjoyed the food and the service!
Service was great. Staff was very attentive and food tasted great.
The food was amazing as always. Love the atmosphere. The restaurant has the feel of dining among friends. Would definitely recommend.
Absolutely lovely evening at Anchor Heights. Great vibe, outstanding service by Sam. We were initially a little disappointed that our fave chef Lucca was no longer there, but everything we ordered (apps, specials of the day) was superb. And the wine selections were great. Well worth the long spur of the moment trek from Staten Island; made us wish we lived near by so it could be our local hang.
