What Jason G doesn't like about Amelie:
You couldn't tell if the escargot were animal, mineral, or vegetable they had no consistency whatsoever. The octopus itself was good, but the sauce was clearly an afterthought, and whatever it was served with was way overcooked. The risotto with scallops was passable the scallops were fresh and had a good sear, but the risotto itself, relying on pecorino for flavor, was not a good choice. On top of it, we didn't have... I absolutely love Amélie! I highly recommend it as a fantastic spot to unwind after work. They offer an excellent wine selection, the food is delicious, and the staff is both friendly and helpful. Cheers!

The food, wine, and staff are absolutely amazing! This is my favorite spot on the Upper West Side!
