I usually come here whenever I visit the city. Not a fat walk from penn which I really appreciate. The prices are decent for the portion and the spice levels are really good. I really enjoyed their curry udon. I usually get a level 2 spice which I don't feel is all that spicy. My only issue is last time I went they were only accepting cash. It wasn't a deal breaker just be prepared to possibly have to pay with cash i... View all feedback.
What J Z doesn't like about Abiko Curry:
The curry was just okay. I ordered the pork katsu, but found it to be underwhelming given the high price and hype surrounding the restaurant. Overall, I left feeling disappointed. View all feedback.
This restaurant was tasty, but a bit pricey. The portion size was good and kept us full for hours. They also had a sliding compartment with extra napkins and disposable sleeves. I ordered the sweet curry rice with croquette, and the croquette was very crispy and went well with the rice. If you prefer mild spice, go for level 1 as there was virtually no spiciness in my dish.
This restaurant is fantastic! The food is delicious, especially the chicken curry with noodles and chicken satay on the side, along with the mushroom rice curry. Both curries were amazing and had a taste reminiscent of Indian cuisine. The dishes are warm and comforting, making them perfect for the winter season. The Level 2 spiciness was just right for those who enjoy Indian spicy food.
This is a great spot for a casual meal. Although it's small and tends to be busy, the service is quick. I only waited for 7 minutes before being seated, and they took our orders right away. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was incredible. I tried the mild chicken set (26) since it was my first time there. The curry sauce was delicious and served separately from the rice. The portion was generous and very filling. The menu is not extensive, but if you find something you like, you'll likely want to come back. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I will definitely return.
The packaging was excellent and helped to keep the food crispy.
