My family and I just made a quick stop. We had a few chicken and beef empanadas, and also an order of tostones. Everything was made to order, and really fresh and delicious. What a great find! View all feedback.
What Joanna Maher doesn't like about La Casa De La Empanada Colombiana:
Giving the food 5 stars but I have to say the place is dirty, covered in dust and cobb webbs. Paint is dirty, window dirty, tables were sticky, back of seat covers were filthy. It doesnt take money for fresh paint and some cleaner. I would suggest tospent a couple bucks to freshen up the waiting area. It is a turn off to see delicious food being made in a dirty place. Goodfood and nice people. View all feedback.
This hidden gem or hole in the wall restaurant provides the most delectable Latino food in NY. The rice beans and chicharon delicious, also the empanadas. They are original like our grandparents made them. Not with the modern dough and process foodsbut with true corn and vegetables. You need to go to this place. It is esthetically clean and the family run mom and pops shopwill make you so welcomed.

New Windsor Hidden GEM First time Customer Now I'm a raving fan! You've never had Empanadas like these. Highly recommend the veg and cheese! Order ahead because it does take a bit of time but that's because they are MADE FRESH! What more could you askfor!

Nice and cozy spot for empanadas near Storm King. Dropped by on a hungry Saturday afternoon after visiting Storm King which is just a few minutes away. They have a simple and short menu and we got a bunch of empanadas veg, chicken, and beef amongstus. After a long wait they apparently make them from scratch we quickly got to work when we got the order. Golden coloredwith a thick, doughy outer shell, the empanadas were hot and tasty and came with a creamy white sauce which was quitegood. With a visit if you're in the area but go brace yourself for a longish wait.
