What Randi Colvin doesn't like about Sushi Heaven In New Westminster:
Was really disappointed with the food as the reviews says it's really good. The rice was way over cooked and just mushy. The cucumber roll had fish eggs all over it, for something that's not supposed to have it. We ordered right around dinner time thinking it would be the best time for good quality food. I was sadly wrong, was really looking forward to some good sushi in the city. View all feedback.
Absolutely delicious! The salmon oshi was some of the best we've ever tasted. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was quite relaxed. We will definitely be returning!
I tried the prawn tempura, miso soup, and avocado roll, and they were all fine. However, I ordered a spicy tuna donburi for my main dish and was quite disappointed. The spicy sauce tasted like the artificial flavoring found in instant noodle soups, and it had a lumpy texture. Additionally, the tuna didn’t taste fresh and had a stringy consistency. After just two bites, I asked the server to take it away and opted for the avocado roll instead. To my surprise, they still charged me for the dish I didn’t eat. When I inquired about this, the waitress nervously laughed and apologized, saying there was nothing she could do. I left feeling very disappointed; it truly felt like I had been robbed of $18.50. I cannot recommend this place and certainly will not be returning.
The sushi was fresh and delicious. I really enjoy their lunch boxes, which provide a satisfying amount of food for me. Finding parking can be a challenge, but I recommend using the free parking lot located at the back of the restaurant. While space is limited, if you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit. Parking: There is a small parking lot at the rear of the restaurant.
If you enjoy Canadian-style sushi and are looking for something that both you and your kids will love, this is the place to go! I absolutely adore this restaurant. It never fails to satisfy and offers unique rolls that can be tough to find elsewhere.
The sushi and sashimi at this restaurant are exceptional, likely among the best I've ever had. My boyfriend and I often eat here or order takeout, and the service is always top-notch. The staff is very friendly and greets you with a smile every time. Their spicy sauce is amazing, and the sashimi is incredibly fresh and flavorful.
