Second time trying, we got the mixed donair first time and Large donair platter this time Taste 1/2* First order of the mix donair was not bad, meat was salty, went well with the veggies. Second order was just sad, the supposed Large donair platter was what can only be described as some weird donair salad that's threw together in seconds on top of the smallest amount of rice ever seen in a takeout. Been meaning to try this place for a while and finally got around too. Not disappointed, fresh ingredients fast service and price was amazing. Definitely will go back
Found it by accident. little hole in the wall type pave but the food is great. I got the chicken platter and hubby the lamb xl donair. The portions are amazing and the flavors are tasty. We will be back
The menu is simple, Chicken, Beef, Lamb or Falafel Donair's. For anyone who has not experianced a donair it is like a sandwich but wrapped in pita, lightly toasted and filled with as little or as lot as you like. Made fresh in front of you with you choosing the toppings. The choices of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, different pickles and other savories, topped with Tzatziki sauce and hot sauce with the generous meat are delicious. As we had never been here before we asked for one chicken and one lamb medium size with all of the toppings. They were only $5 each, so a portable lunch for $10 with tax, a total of $10.60 I was unable to finish my lamb donair but my husband happily finished his chicken but was full. They come in small, medium, large and XL and range in price from $4 to $9 (?) an incredible value for incredible taste evidenced by the steady line up of customers which moved quickly through the small restaurant.
