My friends and I visited on Saturday 4/14 at 6 pm. A party of 8. We had an amazing meal and the best part of our meal (aside from the delicious fresh food) was that one of friends has celiac disease. Our server (who was outstanding) worked with the kitchen to make a completely gluten free meal, even an off the menu fried calamari which was delicious. Our glasses were never empty, food was delicious and hot, service w... View all feedback.
What Kendall H doesn't like about That's Amore:
I ordered a Caesar salad, it came warm and wilty. When I got my chicken parmigiana it was super big thick and soggy, as it's supposed to be thinner and crispy. It had no flavor and it was so much water underneath I could not enjoy my meal as I tried as much as I could. View all feedback.
Marlee was amazing and the food was very good She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect It's nice to think good old fashion Customer Service was first and foremost I'll be back
Went to a friends beach condo for the night and we decided to try this out for dinner! We walked in and it's pretty small inside and all the tables were full. We figured it might be a long wait, but when the guy came over to ask us how many, we said 6 and he said it would be about 15 minutes! Ok, cool! They have a small bar, we got 2 beers for the men and we got Reisling wine. Wow, do they give you a huge glass of wine! 4 drinks was $23,not bad! We waited about 10 minutes and they seated us. They brought hot bread that was sooo yummy with a balsamic/oil dip, to die for! I ordered Lasagna, my hubby got fettuccine Alfredo and my son got it too but added chicken. My food was excellent! Hubby and son said theirs was just ok. Others in the party got Chicken Parmesan and they said it was great! Maybe their white sauce was off??? Cute, little intimate place, will definitely go back!

I have been a patron of That's Amore for the past few years. I have always enjoyed the food, casual ambiance, and friendly staff. Today, I had a completely different experience. I realize that we are all experiencing a difference in our normal existence. I, also, appreciate that restaurants are suffering, as a result of closures due to Covid-19. Here is my experience: We walked in to be greeted by the owner/manager (who was obviously drinking). We witnessed him chugging Peroni beers and wine... while dancing around the restaurant. The only available server was a very grumpy, (obviously overworked) woman, who seemed to be the chef, server, bartender, bus-person in charge of the entire establishment. My boyfriend and I ordered a Calamari appetizer and a Chicken Parmigiana (with Caesar salad) entree to share. We were told they did NOT have calamari, no pizzas, no seafood items... etc. Our Caesar salad was presented on a bread plate. Imagine sharing that, as our salad was spilling over the sides of that tiny plate. Our entree arrived. It was the most disgusting, bland, undercooked version of chicken parmigiana I've ever seen. Honestly, I would have complained, but, it would have been pointless, as the owner was nowhere to be found. I'm sure he was passed out drunk in the kitchen. Sadly, I highly doubt this restaurant will be around for much longer.
With just a few improvements the experience here would have been better. Menus were worn and dirty. Table was dirty (photo) Wine glass dirty. I'm starting to wonder how clean the kitchen is. Food arrived, great presentation No fresh grated cheese. If Olive Garden can pull off fresh grated cheese there's no reason not to have it. Food was good, not great but good. Not in a rush to return.
