Mckenna's Place - New Smyrna Beach

I've always had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. Everything is excellent, and I'm especially fond of the wings!

This is a typical American diner—not a negative thing at all. You can enjoy excellent sandwiches, outstanding wings, and a nice cold beer. Don’t anticipate any fancy decor; it's exactly what you'd expect from a strip mall eatery—no more, no less.

This restaurant is just an average burger place. The atmosphere feels more like a loud sports bar. Unfortunately, my burger was not cooked the way I requested and lacked seasoning. I ordered onion rings to go with my meal but received fries instead. The onion rings, which came out later (only five of them), were undercooked by the time we were almost finished eating. While our meals came out quickly after we ordered, it's not worth it when they aren't prepared correctly. The waitress was friendly, but she didn't come back to check on us frequently enough. Overall, I probably won't be returning.

Great food and staff. A favorite, especially for lunch!

My husband, Robert, picked up our order earlier and everything was superb as usual. We usually eat in but couldn't tonight. Thank you for the great meal and quick service. Sincerely, Janet Burch
