Union Ramen - New Orleans

We ordered a classic ramen bowl with level 1 and level 2 sauces. We also got drinks from the bar, including a Japanese rum. It was the perfect combination for a rainy day. The portion size was generous, enough that we had to take some home. The prices were typical for the area, so no complaints there. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious - I would definitely visit more often if there was a location in my city!

This restaurant offers an outstanding vegan ramen option. It is quite possibly the best we have ever tasted, and we consider ourselves experienced ramen enthusiasts.

I absolutely adored the Miso Ramen. The mushrooms were outstanding. I opted for tofu and bok choy as additional toppings, making it a fantastic meal.

Vegetarian options: There is a whole dish specifically for vegetarians. While it can be made with meat, there is also a vegan option available and you can request to exclude any ingredients you are not comfortable with.

I'm sorry to say that the ramen at this restaurant was quite average. The pork was tough and difficult to eat, and the broth lacked flavor. Adding some spice improved the dish. However, the bartender and drinks were fantastic, and the dumplings were also tasty, although they seemed a bit stale as if they had been left out for too long.
