I'm not usually a fan of oysters, but I have to say the grilled oysters were quite enjoyable. The highlight of the experience, though, is cooking the raw fish yourself. What User doesn't like about The Blind Pelican:
Happy hour daily from 4 to 8pm. Only applies with purchase of adult beverage though. Oysters are good. Service needs to improve though. I had an incident where I left my credit card inadvertently behind, in the check wallet. Retrieving it was a big effort, management claimed they were too busy. View all feedback.

What a fantastic spot in the Garden District! There was a bit of a wait during the night we visited, but it was definitely worth it. The happy hour from 4 PM to 8 PM, with half-priced oysters, was a highlight. We’ll definitely come back the next time we’re in New Orleans!
This place deserves five stars! I’ve been here for a week and tried oysters at every restaurant, but this is by far the best. The raw oysters and those from the charcoal grill are absolutely excellent. Every day, I visited a different place and ordered the same dish, and this one stood out as the best. Sean provides great service, and the ambiance is fantastic. Highly recommend!
