I recently returned to New Orleans and stumbled upon this restaurant, which was previously closed. I found out that they had recently opened a new location. What dlaich1 doesn't like about Paulie Gee's Crescent City Slice Shop:
The pizza at this restaurant is tasty, but I do not recommend going here during Mardi Gras parades. The service is poor and they refuse to let you use the restroom even if you order pizza. Additionally, despite Google stating they open at 11:30, they do not actually open until 1 PM during the parades. I suggest going to True Food instead. View all feedback.

The prices are more affordable, the portions are large, and the desserts are delicious. They offer a variety of music to enjoy while dining. The restaurant is open on sunny days and provides free street parking on Sundays. It is located in the arts district near museums and local shops. I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Sunday afternoons seem like a great time to visit before it gets busy.
I traveled from Brooklyn to New Orleans in search of a good pizza place, and I'm happy to report that I found it at Paulie Gee's. The restaurant is clean, charming, and laid-back - everything you would want in a great pizza joint. The pizzas are top-notch, and I can't wait to come back again in the future.
I ordered takeout from this restaurant and even after the trip back home, the food was still in perfect condition and tasted delicious. The crust was thin but remained crispy, and the toppings were perfectly balanced. The portion size was just right.
I love pauly gees pizza. Some of the best pizza I've ever had. I grew up in chicago and lived in bensonhurst brooklyn. it is classic Brooklyn style pizza with a thin crust that holds like a thin crust chicago pizza. they can pick up a disc without folding it. it will not fly over and take off the ingredients. delicious. thin and crispy. I did not go to new orleans, but paulie gee is another reason to love new orleans. the personal was friendly, warm smile when they commanded me. they can say they love all their jobs. they can be proud because the pizza reflects her proudly. like any great restaurant in this city.
Fantastic pizza. The whole pie is the way to go. Just a slice is not enough. High quality , very fresh. Also try the Mike's chili honey if you are brave.its an interesting combo. It reminds me of pancake syrup and bacon a little bit.
