One must visit for all oyster lovers!! We ordered the grilled oysters and THEY WERE FABULOUS. Big Fat Succulent oysters and so fresh! The grilled shrimps were also beautiful. Prices are very reasonable for excellent quality foods. And the service was just as great. All employees, directly from sitting to serving, were very friendly and very attentive. What User doesn't like about Mr. Ed's Seafood Oyster House, St Charles:
The oysters were very salty. The bread in one order was unedible, crispy to a crisp. One of the oyster toppings were bread crumbs and butter, not crisped. The calimari was overfried to the point that the meat was dried out. Awful View all feedback.
The food and atmosphere were fantastic. The staff was very friendly and seated us quickly. The catfish and chicken were outstanding, while the étouffée and jambalaya were tasty but not quite as impressive. I highly recommend ordering a plate that includes a little bit of everything!
The kind lady at the bar last night was wonderful! The lemon drop martinis were absolutely delicious, and the peach cobbler was incredible as well. The atmosphere was fantastic, and I would highly recommend this place!
This restaurant is located right next to the Maison St. Charles hotel. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is lively. The oysters are incredible and definitely worth a try! We returned twice just to enjoy them!
Mr. Ed's did NOT disappoint!! If you want a New Orleans eating experience, you definitely need to eat here! Overly generous portions, delicious cuisine, and attentive, friendly service make for a pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend!!
All the food was yummy ! We had Louisiana oysters raw , gumbo and A Louisiana platter. The restaurant was clean the staff was friendly. Highly recommend
