Visiting from okc and have had Mediterranean food all my life but nothing like this. You can taste the love and care the chef has for his food. No corners cut and you can tell. Absolutely THE BEST Mediterranean food I've ever had View all feedback.
What Triandos Miller doesn't like about Green Olives Cafe:
had for dinner last night, tzatziki was very bland and tasteless, as was the hummus it was also bland and had pieces of something chunky in it, chicken wasn?t good either it seemed as if it was strips of chicken cut up and just seared in a pan and not doner style, also the greek salad was not traditional at all it seemed as if it had italian style dressing on it. the rice in the dish also wasn?t cooked very well also... Everything was delicious! The Shish Kabob (both lamb and beef) was tender and packed with flavor. The sautéed vegetable plate was tasty, but oh my gosh, the hummus was absolutely incredible. I love hummus, but this was on another level. Overall, it was a fantastic meal!
The gyro, Gyro Plate, and Spinach Philo (2) were all fantastic! I highly recommend them all, especially the Spinach Philo (2). The Meat Appetizer, Stuffed Grape Leaves, were tasty, but I expected them to be a bit larger. Everything was delicious, and the service was prompt. I will definitely order from here again!
The food was incredible! Everything was flavorful and fresh. I wasn't a fan of the grape leaves with meat, but they were still decent. You definitely won't be disappointed!
Best hummus around!! The Greek salad was delicious and filling. I will definitely order from here again.
Food is amazing! The hummus is the best I've had in this city! Get the beef kabob or the kibby!
