What User doesn't like about Gordon Biersch New Orleans:
Went for dinner. The table service was as good as it could be. Ordered Waygu Meatballs, Deviled Eggs, Shrimp Tacos, Steak with Salad. Eggs were decent, meatballs so salty they were nearly inedible, steak and mashed potatoes ordered by my buddy were fine and arrived almost at the same time. Shrimp tacos never came. Still tipped the server 20% because I’m not a douche- but I left $90 poorer and hungry … Don’t eat here... View all feedback.
We had a great experience at this restaurant. The bartender who served us was fantastic—she didn't rush us and made sure to check in frequently. We ordered a burger, and they generously split it for us without us even asking. The drinks were also excellent!
Mrs. Jance and Mr. Juan are truly fantastic! Their service was exceptional, and the food was simply outstanding. Apologies for the burger—I couldn't resist taking two big bites before I remembered to snap a photo! I will definitely be returning!
I went there for dinner and the table service was quite good. I ordered Wagyu meatballs, deviled eggs, shrimp tacos, and steak with a salad. The eggs were okay, but the meatballs were so salty that they were nearly inedible. My friend ordered steak and mashed potatoes, which were decent and arrived around the same time. However, the shrimp tacos never arrived at all. Despite this, I still left a 20% tip for the server because I didn’t want to be rude. In the end, I left $90 poorer and still hungry. I wouldn't recommend this place; you might not get your food, and the quality isn't worth it.
We must really like this place because we return every year when we are in town. We were a large table of 21. Our server Steve was very courteous and sweet really. The restaurant was understaffed because it was Memorial Day. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed and jovial. Oh, my Long Island iced tea was really good, different, but in a good way.
It was pretty good, as always. However, the sliders didn't have much aioli this time, which made them quite dry and bland. They've been better in the past, so it seems like they might just need to take the time to train someone to slow down a bit.
