We had lunch with another couple on a Saturday at 1 PM. The service was excellent, and we really enjoyed the brunch menu. The duck and black-eyed pea gumbo was both delicious and unique. I highly recommend Curio for a laid-back lunch or brunch experience. The $12 bottomless rosé was a fantastic bonus! View all feedback.
What DavidG doesn't like about Curio:
We ordered the crab cakes, salmon and shrimp, and shrimp jambalaya and everything was so over salted. We sent 2 of the 3 meals back and when they redid the shrimp but they were still too salty to eat. We never send meals back because they are too salty. This is the first bad meal we have had in New Orleans. View all feedback.
Both dishes were absolutely delicious! But that salad!!! It was probably the best salad I’ve ever tasted!!!!!
The Gulf Shrimp Caesar Salad and Shrimp Po'boy were tasty, but they felt a bit overpriced. The White Cheddar Jalapeño Grits lacked flavor.
The food was decent, but it definitely wasn't worth the hour and a half wait. If it hadn't been for the driver, they likely would have canceled my order. I had a salad and a side of crab cakes!
It was burnt had a very awful aftertaste like the frying oil was old
The Shrimp Poboy was over breaded and the breading wasn season well. The Bourbon Caramel Doughnuts are good but not worth the $14
