We were here to meet up with friends from NOLA and they hoped for us to have a good night. However the “must have” turtle soup was too salty for my taste. The food was very rich. The best bit was the dessert. The setting is lovely. Service was excellent. View all feedback.

Food was delicious, but service was lackluster. waitress did not come by us often and my latte, ordered for dessert, I had to ask someone to check on half way through eating my dessert. Not the quality of service I expected from an old favorite View all feedback.
I had the best time of my life, celebrating my birthday with my kids and grandchildren.
We went for Jazz Brunch and everything was top notch! Get the shrimp appetizer!
Had the best time celebrating my father in laws 80th birthday! The service from Hopper, Robert Travis was excellent and so personable! Food was great! Definitely coming back!

One of the oldest restaurants in NOLA, and one of the most popular restaurants to visit. The restaurant is old world style and even though it may need a fresh update. I think Commanders Palace would lose the upscale but homey feel. The food was pretty good including the desserts. The service from the host and all the way to the ones bussing the tables. I can say I was truly impressed.
