Not the kind of cafe you want to chill and linger at. I wanted to love this place, but I really didn’t.It’s cash only, and the only ATM nearby is in a store that’s not always open at the same time as the cafe.Waiter told us our total right after bringing out the beignets, so you basically get served once, pay, and get nothing after that. I absolutely adore a sidewalk café! The refreshing morning breeze, the sounds of an ancient city waking up, and seeing the night owls pop in for a quick snack are all such delightful experiences.
I absolutely love the beignets and café au lait! This was my third visit, and for the first time, I had to wait in line. During my previous visits, we were able to go right in without any wait.
It was nothing short of the goodness I've heard about for years and I finally made my way there. It was great!
Always enjoy the food and the place! Coffee is the best ever!
