Fantastic little spot! The beer, liquor, and pizza are all excellent! The atmosphere is wonderful and definitely worth a visit, even if it's just for a drink. The service was outstanding as well... View all feedback.
What Anne C doesn't like about Big Pie Pizza:
The numerous positive reviews on Yelp encouraged us to order from Big Pie Pizza, but we ended up feeling disappointed. We ordered a large pizza topped with ground beef and bacon, but what we received was... View all feedback.
The customer service was amazing, the food came out quickly! I was honestly impressed ! Thank you big pie pizza! I will def be coming back every time I come to Louisiana.
TLDR- DON'T GO HERE! Two star food, and ZERO star service. We had pizza and cheese sticks for lunch. Waitress was extremly out of line as she scolded a previous customer for not tipping. She doesn't deserve a tip since her attitude is trash and never even checked in on us to refill drinks, ask how things were tasting or showed any concern at all. She spent the whole time talking to the owner. When it came time to pay she was no where to be found. It was the owner who finally asked if we needed anything and got us our bill. NEVER AGAIN.
Do not listen to the people they are who tell them that the best bars in new orleans are on bourbon street. big pie pizza may not look like a bar, but it has the heart of one. the staff are always friendly and outgoing, and there is always space for a newcomer. I've been here since I went into the opposite, and I never had a bad experience. the pizza in the name is good value, and in a against without lack of pizza places it is still out. I believe it is the best in the city, and it is certainly at the best price.
I love this place. I found big pie almost by chance. I had just left my hotel and looked for a place to eat a late lunch. the first couple of restaurants I passed were not open for lunch on a Saturday. I came to a little out of the way pizza joint and decided to try it. my calzone was great, the beer was cold, and the staff was very friendly. I felt one of my hometown night bars. everyone should check it. I'll be in town next time.
I had to get some to go wings. I really wanted a diet coke, but changed my mind. They are open and running. They sell alcohol and traditional itialian dishes. The bar is ornate and looks nice. The interior looks clean and well maintained. Not sure if more seating is upstairs. Anyway this was a good stop and I recommend
