The food was enjoyable but not exceptional. We tried the short ribs, gumbo, and lobster mac and cheese, along with some carrot cake. The staff was friendly, which was a plus. However, there were some downsides: the prices felt high for the quality received, and the service was just average, which didn’t match the cost. The decor was quite ordinary, resembling a typical hotel lobby restaurant.

This restaurant and bar is located in the lobby of the New Orleans Marriott on Canal Street. It has a stylish and upscale vibe; however, even with my price expectations set for the French Quarter, the food here is still overpriced for what you receive. The only situation in which I would consider dining here again (unless they completely revamp the menu) is if it's pouring rain and I'm staying at the hotel. Otherwise, there are too many excellent dining options just a short walk away from the Marriott.

This review is about the lounge... In short, the waitstaff made the experience terrible. They seemed to have a major attitude problem and were more concerned about assigning blame than attending to customers. They disappeared for long stretches, leaving empty water glasses and thirsty guests waiting for drinks that never arrived. Soon, they won't have to worry about anything anymore... with service like this, the place is bound to become a ghost town.

I ordered the lobster mac and the gumbo, and both were outstanding!

I found this place to be excellent! I had the crab cakes with red beans and rice, and it was absolutely delicious! The price was quite reasonable as well!
