We went there for the first time. we waited at a table to be acknowledged and another guests came in and got waited on before us. The server went by us a couple times and didn't acknowledge us but the other guest got menus and waited on before any server noticed us. I will never go back we almost walked out but then finally one of the staff noticed us. View all feedback.
My favorite spot to stop for lunch when visiting my husband at work (sadly we live in WI so I don't get to come as often as I would like). Food is good, staff is equally amazing.
Order from here often. great food, delicious desserts and friendly staff. highly recommend.
Everything you would want from a traditional Café!Lovely, smiling faces and delicious fresh cooked food for Café prices!!You will not leave here without a smile, and if you come here twice, the entire Café will already know your name...Highly recommend trying at least once, because you will regret not having come here sooner.
My wife and I really enjoyed lunch at Sweet River on a quiet Thursday afternoon in the week before Christmas. Such friendly and courteous staff! The food was a tremendous value. It was excellent. I had a basic chicken sandwich and loved it. I also had some of my wife's chicken wild rice soup. Yep, loved that too. Congrats on this great part of main street New London. Can't wait to visit again.
The food is amazing, however, the sandwiches could have a little more to them. The French toast was AMAZING! Highly recommend!
