Was Máximo Toro at R M's Boiling Po a mag?
Great service, the crawfish was huge and well seasoned. Only knock is that they don't season the potatoes or sausage links in the crawfish boil but make them separately. Services is great, saw a lot of old timers. The place was packed by 6pm. Will come back again to try the other things on their menu View all feedback.
What Alexa Blanda dislikes about R M's Boiling Po:
Great service and atmosphere, but the food was way below average. Gumbo, watery and flavorless; potato salad, bland; crab cakes, tasted frozen… please take off menu. Not trying to be mean, just helpful. Love Nola Food Critics View all feedback.

For south Louisiana seafood done right- this is the place. Good stuff!
Great food and even better service!! The potato salad is the best I've ever had!!
I was in a bit of a rush to catch a flight, but good things always take time. The alligator bites were fantastic, and the meals were excellent as always. I only wish we had more time to relax and enjoy everything. However, the to-go plates didn’t go to waste. I will definitely return!
We were in town for a quick weekend getaway and asked a local for the best place to get boiled seafood. This is where they directed us, and we couldn't have been happier. The staff were incredibly friendly. We opted for takeout and had two young boys with us, but they were very understanding and accommodating, which we really appreciated! The food was delicious— the shrimp were large and the Dungeness crab was cooked perfectly. The seasoning was just right, not too overpowering at all. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and I wish we had had the chance to dine in and fully experience the atmosphere.
The food was decent, but I felt that the portion sizes were quite small considering the price.

Esse here as often as possible since 2017...and never disappointed! we live in lafitte la and take the 2hr
I used to be here a lot, but it wasn't one, for the first time at her new place. the boiled crust fish and cooked crumbs ordered. Crabs smelled like ammonia and were tasteless. crawfish were overcooked, shamelessly small and also tasteless. will never be here again.
Always a great experience here. super fresh seafood to make reasonable trips. we had steamed crawfish and catfish teche platter. also the crawfish etouffee sauce was a tasty bite. very good and friendly service
We were in this opposite for a short visit and have hunger for something nice eating. it was a great choice here. the ordered bevel rings, crabs, sausages, garnels are really fresh and excellent. the environment is very good, clean and services are great.
Are here 2 days in a row. Crabs were meaty and delicious. Also had fried catfish and chowder. Yum
