Gion - New Hope

What Xhu Vang likes about Gion:
During an interview trip within the area. I stopped by Gion restaurant, enticed by rave reviews and decided to check it out. I ordered the chef's special pho and it exceeded my expectations, boasting a rich broth. What Le Ama doesn't like about Gion:
2nd time trying this place and I don't like it. I had a big order so I paid a good amount of money. Waited for my order while watching the workers scramble. I felt bad by how speedy they had to be to get orders out so I tipped them a good amount to help out the staff. I regret it now because they missed my wontons when I realized it prepping dinner so I had to drive back and didn't even get an apology for wasting that extra time. Food quality is par. Dining in is never the same as take out because they shorten the amount of food they pack for you for take out so not worth the price. Too expensive for food that you could cook at home if you know how to cook it. From now on I'd rather drive to Maple Grove and eat at Lotus than this place.
