We enjoyed the breakfast skillets, and bought two Earl Grey cupcakes for the road. They had salads and wraps for lunch and if I was passing by again I would certainly look forward to trying them. View all feedback.
Always a nice surprise to find a great eatery in an unexpected spot. The Bakery next door being closed, we walked in and were immediately impressed with the clean, comfortable appearance and friendly reception. We were warned off the large soup of the day as it would be too much. But it was a good soup, and one of us had an excellent grilled cheese sandwich. Very good fresh coffee and great service. Noted the spotless toilet complete with baby change table. Shows again that down home atmosphere can go with high standards.
If you like to eat with healthy choices, they have amazing salads of many varieties, great breakfast wraps, Mercedes Beans coffee, and many other speciality coffees, fresh baked goods.
I visited Zelda's Cafe in New Hazelton. It's located beside the Skate Board Park, there's plenty of free parking in the immediate vicinity. The view of the local mountain is fantastic. The food is great, I had the Pine Mushroom soup, it was so good it made me want to go and pick pine mushrooms. The coffee was great, you can just drop in for a latte or your favorite tea and enjoy the view from bar seating at the front window. I will return to this local coffee shop with homestyle cooking.
A "Hippy Joint". Great sandwiches & coffee. This is a great place to pick up a pic nic. They also hire young people 7 train them well!:)
I had the best chicken Caesar wrap I have ever eaten. My husband ordered the breakfast skillet and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also shared a delightful slice of strawberry shortcake cheesecake.
