Rob's Pizza - New Hazelton

My husband and I both had salads, he got the Greek and I got the spinach. Both were wonderful and well priced at $14. The special that evening was a pork chop and the soup was clam chowder. The service was really good.

We stopped based on the tidy and fresh look of the venue as we were driving by. The interior was newly renovated, extremely clean and nicely furnished. The table tops were spotless. Even the knives and forks were heavy and substantial. The chef obviously had a real European education as a cook and put this knowledge and his passion to very good use. The meals were VERY tasty and generous. The menu comprises Canadian, Austrian and Italian dishes (the chef's background). While we were eating, the Chef was beating the meat to prepare Cordon-Bleu for the dinner special! We easily had the best meal of our trip through Canada there. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. This restaurant is highly recommend.

C'est bon et bien préparé et l'accueil est très sympa. Nous y sommes retournés le lendemain.N'y allez pas trop tard car c'est vite plein.

Das Gebäude kommt dem Besucher von aussen schon irgendwie vertraut vor. Blockhütte? Alpen? Massive helle Holzmöbel, schöne Aussenterrasse und freundlicher, flinker Service. Österreichische Inhaber!Sehr sauber, die teils offene Küche perfekt organisiert!Eine Speisekarte, die Appetit macht. Wir hatten griechischen Salat und frittierte Hallibutstücke als Vorspeise und teilten uns hinterher auf Anraten eine Pizza. Endlich ein Abendessen ohne verbrannte Speisen, nicht fetttriefend- sondern frisch und wirklich lecker!!! Wunderbarer Wein ( Merlot ) aus Canada.Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!Unbedingt anhalten, wenn man nicht sowieso in Hazelton übernachtet. Auch die 30 min. Weg aus Smithers lohnen absolut!
