The restaurant has introduced a new chef and new menu. Despite the changes, some of the long-standing vegetarian appetizers are still available. I particularly enjoyed the Nopalitos, which was also my only entree option. I ordered a side of Black Beans for some protein, which was delicious. However, I wish there were more vegetarian protein options available for the tacos, as there are for the meat versions. This seems to be a common issue in the restaurant industry.
The menu offers vegan options for most items. The restaurant has a happy hour and a variety of food specials. I tried the two hotdogs with fries or tater tots, featuring the Upton’s Natural “Updog” which I enjoyed. The toppings were unique and delicious. Additionally, the buffalo cauliflower and general Tso cauliflower wings were tasty.
I really enjoyed the Impossible Burger and seasoned fries paired with a cold beer at this restaurant. It's a good choice if you're going out with non-vegans for drinks and expect to get hungry. I would rate it closer to a 3 than a 4, so I'd give it a 3.5 if I could. (Reviewed on 2022-01-03)
