The best bubble tea in New Haven and this coming from someone who's been tasting bubble teas all around Asia. They keep up with popular drink menus that you can find nowadays in Asia. The drinks were very tasty and not too sweet. Tapioca balls were chewy and perfect. Everything was great. View all feedback.
What Devin Ashcraft doesn't like about The Whale Tea:
We tried three different drinks and each was disappointing. Blue crystal was 95% coconut jelly and a splash of coconut milk. Thai tea was not fresh and tasted more like powder. Strawberry milk was just a small amount of Strawberry syrup on the sides and regular milk which was very basic.The tea looks cool but that is about all I can say. View all feedback.
Pretty tea shop! The regular brown sugar bubble tea is good, others just looked pretty ?
Not bad.. got the oreo creme brulee and it was quite good.
The pictures confuse people. Ordered a ginger brown sugar fresh milk tea because the picture looked good and there’s boba. But indeed there’s no boba.
Bubble tea options to die for! Great Asian market for all your needs. Nothing available like this anywhere close. We shop here
First time going. Beautiful place, friendly staff. Ordered a matcha and tasted more like milk. No doubt i’ll try again based off reviews maybe that day wasn’t a good day but other than that the staff was nice!
