Then mom (we know from the great introduction) came over to say hello and commented on my necklace. The food was so good and it was like we were at Nonna's house!! We started with the antipasto and the stuffed figs. So glad we chose both because those stuffed figs alone were worth the trip back. For our entrees I got the bolognese and my husband got the ziti with a creamy sausage sauce, both were delicious!!! It is worth the trip and we know we will be making return visits!! We walk in and are immediately greeted by “Mama” Anna who quickly bonded with my sister upon hearing her speak Italian. Anna was so sweet and welcoming. I hadn’t even sat at the table yet and felt like Iwas with family. The food was incredible!! We all ordered different dishes and I ate my entire plate… I NEVER eat my wholemeal but the portions were big enough to satisfy while not being so much that you felt uncomfortable afterwards. The waitresswas very attentive, friendly and accommodating. We ended up chatting with her about family after we had finished eating. I willdefinitely be coming back to Skappo and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a homey environment with delicious Italianfood.

I was seeking something different and we planned on Indian, the place in mind was closed which threw us for a loop and we landed at Skappo. It was probably the best dining experience I've everhad. Every dish had detailed intricate flavors that you could taste almost in order in every bite, from the appetizer to thedesserts. Positively wonderful, and the service was tremendous. I believe the son of the family owned restaurant helped us andhe had a wonderful story about the restaurant or his family every time he came to our table. Truly Wonderful place to dine. I'dtravel the 5 hours again just to eat here. It was well priced and worth every penny.
