If I had the opportunity, I wouldn't even give this restaurant a single star. The dining experience was extremely unpleasant. The owner was extremely rude. The food was just average, and I strongly advise against ordering the biryani here as the owner believes he is an expert on biryanis just because he is from Punjab. Tandoor has been a staple in the Chapel Street neighborhood for many years, offering high-quality Indian food in a relaxed setting with attentive and courteous service. The menu features traditional dishes such as curry, tandoori, and tikka, all served in generous portions. In addition, there is a small yet thoughtfully curated selection of beer and wine available to complement your meal.
I found it amusing because I am in Hyderabad and the biryani served here should not even be considered authentic. The owner was disrespectful to all of his customers. I question how he even manages to make a profit with such a terrible attitude.
This restaurant offers delicious Indian cuisine at an affordable price in a retro 60s-style diner setting. They have a daily lunch buffet and a wide range of options on the menu. Their naans and rotis are particularly outstanding. The staff are happy to adjust the spice level to your preference, but be aware that their dishes tend to be on the spicier side. Even the medium spice level may be too hot for those who prefer just a little heat.

We traveled from hartford to eat on this place for Friday dinner. but our visit to this restaurant was an nightmare. the owner is really very rude and the customer service is terrible. we tried gobi manchurian and asked the sharp plane to be hot. to our total surprise the manchures was so hot that he burned our mouth. the owner should have explained the level of the season before the order. some of my friends ordered biryani, but to her surprise turned out that it was a pulav. I will not recommend visiting this restaurant for everyone.
