this is my favorite Asian restaurant! the owners are very friendly and make them welcome. the service is fast and they are helpful when asking or requesting. I command the dry looked crispy bark, and sometimes I ask for it less sharp, then normal, and it is never a problem. the dining room is spacious and beautifully decorated. there is a large menu with sushi, Japanese and Chinese dressed. everything I tasted was gr... What User doesn't like about Formosa Asian Fusion:
I ordered the salmon don. It was supposed to come with rice salmon seaweed salad and pickled vegetables. What I got was rice with too much rice vinager and a few pieces of salmon. My mom got pad Thai which left an awful taste in her mouth. ALSO the place had a lot of customers with like 1 waitress, I felt so bad! The only 2 good things I could say was the waitress was very sweet and the tea was fine. View all feedback.
This resturant has treated me like family since the first day I went. Best food I've ever had in my entire life. We make a trip here every weekend! Friendly and attentive staff. 100/10 would recommend to anyone.
Outstanding restaurant, great family owned service, and high quality food. We even had Christmas Eve here one year and it was awesome.

Formosa is the best restaurant in north haven and the best Asian food within 40 minutes mile radius. all their dishes we have tried were excellent especially the general tso chicken, honey walnut shrimp, lo my, pork fired rice, beef dishes and sushi. above all, they prepare the right roasted rice. it has taken a long time to find good roasted rice in the new haven graphic, but here it is roasted it has ice and many sweet and is perfect it is not the colored yellow art that many other restaurants prepare. the sweet is always very fresh, they use wonderful amounts of garlic and fresh ginger. the lunch specialties are a fantastic deal when they feed in them will be impressed by the presentation. it can be more expensive than other Chinese restaurants in the opposite, but for us is a tasty bite so we don't make it out to spend the extra money for high quality food.
Absolutely delicious dishes! Formosa beats any Asian venue in Bristol (yes, we drive all the way from Bristol, as the food is so worth the ride!!
