Convenient location in East Rock next to P&M market. There is very limited seating inside, but there is a lot of seating shared with the market.Be prepared to wait if you don't order ahead, their online ordering system is easy to use and I recommend doing that and then heading over if you don't have time to wait. The food and coffee are good and are of consistent quality, but the wait can be very long due to the number of online and in-store orders. The staff needs to process and prioritize the orders better, would recommend having 2 baristas at the same time. View all feedback.
The coffee was alright, but the eggs in the breakfast sandwiches were obviously pre-made, and the baked goods were pretty disappointing. Additionally, the chai came from a box, which was a letdown. Maybe it’s just me getting older, but I’ve grown less tolerant of pretentious attitudes lately.
This lovely coffee shop is nestled in a charming part of East Haven. The coffee receives a rating of 4 out of 5; it boasts a delightful flavor with a slight pleasant bitterness. A selection of baked goods is available in the case. The indoor seating is somewhat limited, and there’s a small deck out front. While the noise from the air system next door can be a bit distracting, it’s still a great place to relax.
I'm a big fan of ERC! They serve excellent coffee, and the staff is wonderful. A special thanks to Dave and Sydney for their commitment to keeping the community energized. I hope they reintroduce some of the favorite menu items. Cheers!
