Feedback
**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences** Nestled in New Haven, this charming eatery offers a unique atmosphere and diverse menu, drawing mixed feedback from patrons. While some diners rave about the friendly staff and flavorful dishes like lamb shish kebab and stuffed French toast, others express disappointment over inconsistent food quality and customer service. Issues such as lukewarm meals and improper reservations have led to frustration. However, many appreciate the serene environment free from distractions, making it an appealing spot for breakfast. Despite some setbacks, the restaurant's warm ambiance and commitment to quality leave room for hope in future visits.
We made a reservation for six people through OpenTable. When we arrived at the scheduled time, we found the restaurant completely closed and dark. It was evident that they hadn't been serving customers that day, and we shouldn't have been able to make a reservation at all. This led to significant inconvenience and embarrassment for us, as we had to scramble to find alternate dining options on a busy Saturday night during parents' weekend.
Absolutely the best pancakes I've ever tasted! The Middle Eastern dishes are phenomenal—truly the best I've encountered. The staff is wonderful as well!
Food was decent. Ambience is pretty good. Service is also good. However I am upset with their shady practice: they charged 10% tax instead of standard 6.35% and added an arbitrary service fee.
This place is so cute. It’s the kind of place you root for. You can tell effort has been put in to making comfy and fun. I wish them the best, I got traditional lamb over rice but the menu was HUGE with lots of options. If you’re even thinking about going, do it. Support a local business. I talked to the chef and he was such a warm and nice guy, we gotta keep places like this going.
