I don't feel that this bar is open to all members of the LGBTQ community. I recently visited with my fiance and was ignored by the bartender and given many dirty looks from male gay customers. I've yet to find lesbian bar in New Haven and thought that York Street Cafe would at least be a safe place to quietly get a beer with my fiance among other queers. Great place for Sunday brunch! Mimosa pitchers for $12! Lots of food for reasonable prices! Check it out!
A great place to socialize. Friendly bartenders and a down to earth crowd. The prices are fair and reasonable and the atmosphere is pleasant.
Love this place! Very chill vibes, easy to meet and chat with people. Great outdoor space in the back. The food is good and beer selection is decent.
The funny part is when i got there for brunch cuz A friend of mine recommend the place to me and i did know it was a gay bar till i looked around and already ordered the food...Lol awkward!! he made me go there as a laugh for his amusement... im just saying to him paying back is a B Nevertheless,Was a good food!
