Had their special fish bits. Fried fish by nature is greasy however there should not be that much grease that it puddles on your plate or makes your French fries to soggy to eat. Went there especially for the fish as we were told it was better then Murphy's in Truro however that is not the case. The fish was tasty but more greasy then it had to be. Always great food and has a great atmosphere when visiting.
I love this diner. My family and I always come here when we're in town. The staff is super polite and the food is incredibly fresh. My favorite thing is the Fish Chips; it's such a classic!
Just as good as anyone else says! We had to wait a few minutes outside because the tables were all full, but the wait was worth it. The best fish and chips, sandwiches and desserts. And the most friendly faces in Nova Scotia! Don't miss Barb.
Get there early for the fish tips...they sell out fast. But the fish and chips are great as well
This is a small restaurant with home style food. Portion sizes are large. I had fish and chips which were very good. My wife had the soup which was also excellent. The desserts were also home style. Will visit again if I am in the area.
