The Raj India - New Forest

This charming little restaurant in Christchurch, New Milton is absolutely picturesque. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite. The prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were generous. The food was delicious and filling. My wife and I ordered a mix curry with lamb, chicken, and prawns, as well as a mixed vegetable dish with two chapattis – it was all very yummy. We washed it down with a cold cobra beer and a refreshing pineapple juice. I would have taken pictures of the food, but I couldn't resist devouring it all before I had the chance.

This restaurant is fantastic. The owners are lovely and the food is exceptional. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The high quality of the dishes was evident. It is rare to find restaurants that offer authentic cuisine like this in both Bangladesh and India.

The food was extremely tasty and the service was exceptional. The staff was very polite and accommodating. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I love it. It feels like being in an old, traditional 80s restaurant, reminiscent of Only Fools and Horses. The service is prompt and excellent. I will definitely be returning.

I had dined at this restaurant before and enjoyed the food, but when I returned in November, I was greeted with a strong smell of mold as soon as I walked in. We sat in a booth as usual, but the table felt damp. When my husband lifted the table cloth, we discovered the table was covered in black mold. We brought this to the attention of the waiter, who responded with, "That's why there is a cloth on it." This was disappointing and unfortunate.
