What Pierre12121313 doesn't like about The Mill at Gordleton:
Myself and my wife visited for the first time a couple of months ago, just for drinks, on our way to Lyndhurst and thought it was a nice place to return to in the future for a meal. Unfortunately our meal tonight was very underwhelming.... View all feedback.
During our visit to England, our cousin brought us to this restaurant to eat. The food and service were wonderful, and the surroundings were gorgeous.
Good location nice food but definitely not value for money a burger and just a few chips over £17 daylite robbery you would expect more on your plate. Couldn’t see the point of the brunch menu served after 11am very eggy!
We stayed for 2 nights bed and breakfast. We ate here the first night and the three courses we had were delicious and well executed and very quick service. The house coctails were well made and delicious. We received a very warm welcome from the whole team and they were super dog friendly. We found the pub to have a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The room was spacious and warm, and had great facilities. We could not fault our stay here. Highly recommended! Thank you.
We stayed for three nights in room 8 which is a suite. It was very comfortable with a separate sitting room, lovely comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom. We ate in the pub on 2 nights and the food was excellent. Service also excellent, all staff were attentive and super helpful. Beautiful setting by the river which was lovely despite the constant rain!
Beautiful old pub with garden, right by the river: lovely spot, and very characterful inside. Sunday roast pork was very good, too. My only small criticisms are that it was really draughty inside (maybe we were unlucky with our table: it was a stormy February day) and the only non-meat Sunday lunch option turned out to contain dairy, so no ‘roast’ option for my dairy-free daughter.
