Traditional pasty was really tasty as was the coffee. My sister had the apple and raspberry pasty and said it was lovely. Seating outside was a bonus on a lovely sunny day, staff were friendly and helpful too. View all feedback.
What Rachael S doesn't like about Mines A Pasty:
When I walked in the first thing I asked was can I get some water for my dog, the lady turned around with a very unfriendly tone and miserable face and said have you brought something are you sat outside I said no and she wouldn’t give my dog water What she didn’t stop to think was this is a customer who is about to buy something, she’s just asked for some tap water which is free, but instead she’s let greed and cons... Fabulous pasty and very friendly server. Would recommend it. Very busy but quickly served. Managed to get a seat indoors but other’s outside.
We were just passing through on a Sunday afternoon...Almost closing time and had sold out of large traditional pasty...I purchased 2 frozen to cook at home later and I have to say they were one of the best we've ever had...I'm a Devon maid married to a Cornishman so know what a good pasty should taste like...Well done you guys....Spot on.... Peppery swede, potato , beef and onion and not too thick pastry which was crispy and delicious ...10/10 from us...Def be back...
Best pasties… even better than Cornwall. My fave has to be the cheese and onion pasty. Staff were very helpful and we’ll definitely be paying another visit before returning home!
While exploring Lymington, I came across this hidden gem of a restaurant. The pasties were absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. It's a must-visit spot in Lymington. I had the chicken leek pasty, which was flavorful, while my wife loved the hot and delicious steak stilton pasty.
We're 60 plus in years and have tasted many pasties in our lifetime but the traditional pasties that we ordered were mouthwateringly DELICIOUS!!!! Pastry normally repeats on me so, having ordered with trepidation, what a fantastic surprise to be able to eat an entire pasty that didn't upset my stomach some hours later! The ingredients were so moist that it was so much more tasty than other mass produced brands that, quite frankly, are as dry as old boots! We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mines A Pasty to anyone visiting Lymington High Street. (From St Thomas's Car Park, head down the high street on the right hand side and they are very close to the bottom before the road down to the cobbled walkway to the quay). To add, all the staff were very polite and attentive thank you to everyone at Mines a Pasty!
