I called to ask if I needed to book a table and th... read more We are on holiday for our anniversary and my husbands birthday combined and we don’t know the area very well. I called to ask if I needed to book a table and they said I should just come along and they would find us a spot. When we arrived, we were led to a table and I noticed how empty the place seemed to be (which was my only cause for concern). I can only wonder why it’s not heaving every night. Everything was perfect! The waiter was attentive but not overly, the service was timely and unhurried, the food was incredibly tasty and the atmosphere was light. They had created a wonderful ambience! The place did indeed begin to fill up after we were seated. The no alcohol served rule suited us as we don’t really drink anyway but people can bring their own. I... read more I ordered through Uber Eats for delivery and experienced a delay with my order. However, when the food finally arrived, it was still hot and tasted fantastic. It was definitely worth the wait. We had the lamb vindaloo, lamb kari, lamb korma, prawn korma, onion bhajis, naan bread, etc. The food was very tasty, and I would rate it a 5. The service and atmosphere were also excellent, both receiving a 5-star rating as well.

But in fa... read more We used to go here a lot before the refit. We booked to go as it was my farther’s Birthday. We must have booked on a bad night. Service was poor/slow. But in fairness to them it looked to be over booked for the amount of staff. No alcohol was not so much of an issue but would’ve been good to know prior to arriving, it wouldn’t have made a difference as we struggled to get any drinks. Menu selection was okay but edging towards pricy for the standard and certainly high for the level of service we received. I won’t be rushing back.
